Prayer is important in the life of every church. Though there is not a set time for prayer each week, the church shares in seasons of prayer and reflection, for example during Advent and Lent. There is sometimes a time for reflection during the Coffee Day, where a small group gathers in the church at noon for a time of reflection.
Sunday worship is our central activity and we meet each Sunday at 10.30am. Worship is fairly relaxed. We use hymns with contemporary terminology, and we seek to use inclusive language throughout. In the tradition of liberal reformed worship, there is a strong emphasis on the bible and seeking understanding which is pertinent to our lives today, informed by our progressive theology. We also have a number of very relaxed Family services throughout the year.
Guides & Brownies
The Church hosts Guides & Brownies each week, normally during school term times.
The girls also come along to church with members of their families for parades, including Thinking Day (the nearest Sunday to 21 February).

There had been a joint Craft Group running for some time. Past projects included Banner making, knitting blankets for sending overseas and crafts to sell at the Christmas Fair. Most recently the group worked together on a beautiful "tree", which now hangs in the church vestibule.
The group meets on Wednesdays at 7.00pm
Each month, on the second Saturday, there is a coffee day in the Church Hall. Tea, coffee, home baking and light lunches (soup, stovies or filled rolls) are served from 10.00 am until 2.00 pm.
How about arranging to meet your friends here for lunch or come on your own and meet other folk? You could also buy some home baking to take home. We hope to see you there sometime!
A number of local groups use the halls on an ad hoc basis.
